I hate coming up with titles for my blogs :)

Seriously, it takes me longer to think of a darn title than it does to write an entire blog. Unless it’s something catchy, I have the most difficult time.
I bought new shoes last week Thursday. I’m excited because they are quite fashionable this time. My past shoes have been hideous…but very comfortable. Thanks to the peeps at Gazelle! And they even sent me a really nice follow up card in the mail. Made my $90 a much better investment for some reason.
I broke them in on the road on my Sunday run. I was doing great until I plowed through a huge sub-arctic puddle that soaked through everything. Pretty sick. I thought the paths would have been melted off a little better than they were…dodging snow and ice really irritated me, proving once again that I’m totally over this Michigan weather and CANNOT WAIT until it warms up for good.
So anyways, moving forward to May 10th…it’s going to be here before we know it. I was changing over my training calendar last night and I started to panic a bit. I know I’m on track, but I can’t believe how fast the year has gone by already! It feels like yesterday when we were selected for this team…and when I thought to myself ‘how in the heck will I balance training with my coaching’.
Well, I pulled it off as best as I possibly could! We finished our cheer season last Saturday with our Regional competition - sad to see the season is done, but relieved that I will have more time to commit to my running - heaven knows that I need it! I am really looking forward to being with my fellow Road Runners now on a regular schedule.

We need a Road Warrior cheer. I think Mike and Terry should perform it to help motivate the team!
