Building Community
Posted by Deborah Pieri under: Deborah Pieri .
Hi all. I too enjoyed the run around Reed’s Lake yesterday. What fun. Shelly and Steve were glowing through the fog with their neon coats! Thanks Terry for running the second lap with Tim and I. I always enjoy the conversation. Time flies and in no time at all you’re back where you started from! The foot doesn’t feel too bad Mike. I’ve been icing it just to be safe. My students thought I looked pretty funny standing there in class rolling a frozen bottle of water under my foot while teaching today. Glad I entertain them!
My fellow road warriors and coaches are a remarkable group. I feel that we are becoming fast friends. We share a love of running, but we are also developing community. This community reaches out to other runners who also have the goal of completing the 25K. They read about our adventures and hopefully they are encouraged. I know that I am always encouraged by each of my fellow road warriors. You guys are awesome! Mike and Terry you guys are the best!
See you on the track Tuesday night and at Craig’s Cruisers on Thursday.
Happy running. . . . in the rain? Is is really January?

Deb, I just wanted to say that you are incredibly encouraging and inspirational to me. I’m glad we get to do this with you. I will be looking for a refresher on those Pilates back workouts / stretches soon.
