Brrrrrrrr!

Posted by Terrence York under: Terrence York (Coach) .

I think winter has arrived.  I started off first thing this morning talking to Mike D about the nice winter weather we had this morning and decided to go ahead and still run outside today.

We met Julie, Chaz, and Shirl at the East Grand Rapids Library this afternoon.  We had a nice easy pace around Reed Lake.  About 4.25 miles.   Most of the road and sidewalks were cleared by now.  At times running up some of the smaller hills that was covered with snow and ice made it challenging.

Great job to Julie, Chaz, and Shirl today.

This was my first snow run and I really enjoyed it! I’m looking forward to next Sunday. Bring on the blizzard!

It was a great run and I’m looking forward to “catching” the rest of you! This will now become my new goal!

As soon as my login name and password are working….I will begin my blog - for now, it looks like we need to work out some technical details!

Thanks again coaches! You are the BEST!

I’m fine with the snow. Problem is the bike path that runs through our neighborhood (30th Street, Buttrick, 36th Street, etc.) Under the snow is an inch of ice. It’s been this way for two weeks, and running on it is an accident waiting to happen. Glad to know that at least one city is taking care of the path!
